Painful lessons on why we shouldn’t copy from copyrighted sources.

Per the Data Working Group (DWG), user:chdr, was reported by other OSM members, copying stuff from Google Maps. Then the user was contacted directly by the DWG and given some time to explain or even reply with evidences to prove otherwise. However, following this, the user has taken action not to do so; and the time was up.

And so, the user has edited some streets in KL - because the fear of copyright infringement, a redaction has been made.

Ouch!. I fwouldn’t be surprised if somewhere in the south is going to be hit next. :rage:
