Is there anything like Recent Changes for the map?

As a Wiki user I'm accustomed to relying on Recent Changes for my understanding of what's going on with a project.  Is there anything like RC for the map itself?  Is there a log of changes to the database or something?

Thanks!

Yes there is, you can get a minute by minute Changelog of the database,

But it's nothing like the nicely formated Recent Changes page on Wikipedia, It's a data dump of the database which makes it less useable to get an overview of changes but also better if you want to know exactly what changes have been made in the last minute, there's also an  hourly dump.

ooh. Didn't know diffs were being produced so regularly now. I'll update the wiki information about this : http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php … _frequency

There's also a page called Change monitoring for brainstorming ideas about that.
