Newbie: How to tag a street which changes properties?

Hello, newbie question! How do I tag a street whose properties change halfway through? An example, a residential street which for half its length is one-way (oneway=yes), and then changes to become two-way. Should I create two separate ways (with the same name), one for the part of the street which is one-way, and the other for the part of the street which is two-way? But how do I indicate that these two ways are, in fact, the same street?

I browsed around the Wiki, but was unable to find an answer to this...

Thanks muchly in advance!

Yes.

I don't think there is a definite answer for this at the moment. It looks likely to be handled by a relation, see http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php … ected_Ways
