How to use garmin.openstreetmap.nl map on generic Chinese car gps
I chose some tiles from garmin.openstreetmap.nl and requested a map of western Canada and USA.
My car has this device: http://dx.com/p/joyous-j-2612mx-6-2-tou … rol-221429 , which is the Joyous J-2612MX.
Here is an excerpt from the manual:

When I use the .exe file that is generated by osm.nl in the manner above, the device seems to accept it. But when I go to actually use the SatNav feature of the device, it just says: Failed...
Does anyone know if it is possible for me to use the .nl map on this device?
Thanks
Peter

I doubt this will possible. The exe file is meant for Mapsource or Basecamp on a windows PC, not for mobile devices like this one (OS Windows CE 6.0)
