Update garmin.openstreetmap.nl

Hello, I made several updates after 14 days, but so far nothing to update the garmin.openstreetmap.nl IMG Brazil, other country or countries already have updates today, but not Brazil.
I know someone explain why?

I graduated in Computer Science and worked for 8 years and updating pages with programming for the Brazilian Army.
Today I am a lawyer, I like to map areas to relax. I could help in trouble-free updates!

Thanks for offering your help João,
Since you are familiar with computers, why not try to compile the maps yourself?
What you need is http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Mkgmap, the geofabrik Brasil extract (http://download.geofabrik.de/south-america.html or a small area exported from josm or osm.org) and once you have setup/fine tuned the mkgmap scripts, you can update the maps whenever you like.

Well, I guess it's good to see that after only two weeks of no updates people are already wondering what's wrong... Looks like the service is usually pretty smooth.

I'm back from holidays now and an update is running. I could have configured automatic updates but if something went wrong I would not have been able to fix it, so a two week hiatus seemed like a good idea. Thanks for your patience. smile

Hi Lambertus, glad you are back because there is still a problem with the overview maps not being rendered at all wink
Some maps don't show at all, for instance the OFM Iceland map, see https://help.openstreetmap.org/question … n-basecamp

May I ask how often garmin.openstreemap.nl update its data from OSM's main suppository? Is it always a manual process at irregular intervals?
