Can you guys apply the OpenID patch for MediaWiki so people don’t need to create a login?

I will forward the request to the OSM wiki developers. However that won’t work on the forum (yet) as it doesn’t use wiki authentication at all…

Some additional info on using OpenID for this forum: There is work being done to the forum developers to make 3rd party authentication easier. Others have already noted that OpenID is an interesting implementation, so I guess in the future this forum will be using OpenID when OSM is starting to use it as well.
