I think it is pitty not to link to this forum. Now the link is accessible in the bottom of wiki main page, which is not very prominent location. A bug regarding osm.org should be filled in trac I guess.

Indeed! I do support a better linking of the information sources for OSM.
For example: on http://help.osm.org there is NO link to the forum, the wiki or the mailinglists at all, so every ten answers I tell some guys there to ask more complex issues at forum or elswhere.
I assume they don't know about the forum ...
