How can JOSM import POIs from a Garmin GPS?

Hello,

I have a GPSmap 60 GPS and have recorded many POIs - many of them with no associated tracks. I can see them in MapSource and on my GPS, but how can I import them to JOSM?

I hope that after I manage to get the POIs to JOSM it will be straightforward to edit them for clarity and upload them to the OSM database…

Save your POIs as a GPX-File and open this file with JOSM. You should be able to see them a seperate layer.
