That is a good point, not many people are 5 metres in the air like that.

Well i wasn’t happy with 5m, so I went up Ben Nevis to test out the acuracy. I got a reading of 4417-20’ at the top. Wikipedia says its 4409, and what wiki says goes.

I didnt have the altitmeter thing on, cause of limited battery power. Also Im not exactly shore where the ‘top’ is, due to many scatter stones, stone walls, Raised platforms, an SOS hut thing, etc. I think the natural top lay a few feet below where i stood. So I would say without the alitimeter on, the acuracy was within about 8 feet.

Obviously the condisions where good, with surrounding hills, and highrise buildings not being much of a threat.
