I’m a newbie here. I like your OSM maps but find that the POIs for my country in Malaysia are not many. I have been contributing POIs (Points Of Interest) to our local maps community, and wonder if I can also contribute the same POIs which I have collected for OSM.

a warm welcome to the OSM community. I’m mapping for OSM since one year in Khon Kaen, Thailand, User:Willi2006. OSM is “building an open-licensed free and accurate geodata from scratch”. There are two main principles: “Have fun” and “Don’t copy from other maps”.
Thus your POIs are highly welcome when you have collected them yourself, i.e. you are the owner, or you have the authorization of the owner. Interesting and enlightening to read Copyright Easter Eggs.
