Incorporating Data on access to clean safe drinking water.

I am working on a project that is gathering data regarding access to clean drinking water for people world-wide. Presently I have a list of countries and the status of access to drinking water for people in that country. See:

Is it possible to incorporate such data into the openstreetmap project? If so, how would I upload or otherwise incorporate such data? If the openstreetmap project is not a good repository for this data, can you suggest another project for me to investigate?

If you’re talking about importing the statistics then no they’re not really a good fit in OSM. But if we’re talking about geodata, like locations of clean, safe potable water then that sounds like a very good addition to OSM, IMHO.
