Near The Hague in the Netherlands is an extensive signed network of water routes for small boats and canoes (link). Near Gouda is a similar network for canoes (link).
Both networks consists of numbers nodes with connections between them. This is similar to the way most recreational cycle routes in the Netherlands are signed.
I would like to map the network, but how should I do that? I thought of using the same system as for cycle routes, but then changing ‘route=bicycle’ to ‘route=boat’, ‘network=rcn’ to 'network=‘rbn’ and ‘rcn-ref=’ tot 'rbn-ref=’.
Do you have any suggestions?
