I was wondering if anyone has any layer files for displaying downloaded OSM .shp files in ArcMap. I’ve downloaded the files from http://downloads.cloudmade.com/ and I COULD go through and symbolize each layer, but I’d really like to make them look very close to the Mapnik or Osmarender symbology. Does anyone know where I could find these .lyr files? Surely they exist, right?
Surely not. Most people here have never used ESRI products. I understand your wish to find ready made .lyr files because styling a map to look very close to Mapnik would take very much work. OSM.xml style file is now 6416 rows long and there whole lot of different scale dependent elements to draw.
