How do we tag auto stands?
Considering how many of them we have in india and their relevance in being marked on a map…
For buses we have this : http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Bus
for taxis : http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:amenity%3Dtaxi
and of course : http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Parking
Yeah but auto rickshaws are not taxis and we have taxi stands in the country too…
So its better we have distinct tags for each right?
You are right.
SO I think it’s the best to use “amenity= rickshaw”.
But of course auto-rickshaws are motor vehicles, and are not the original pulled rickshaw either.
