Planet GPX updates

Hello,
why the planet GPX (http://planet.openstreetmap.org/gps/) was not updated since April 2013? Are there other means to access the data (the GPS traces from last ~1.5 year)?

I am PhD student working in field of eco-navigation, the GPS traces are essential for my research and more data would help me to obtain better results.

Hi,
It’s probably a bit late for you, but you can access the OSM api to retrieve gps traces: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/API_v0.6#GPS_traces

But it is still interesting, if the GPX planet will be updated in the future. I also use the data for a research project.

Does anybody know, who is in charge of creating the planet gpx?
