I’m looking for a way to track the progress of mapping Hiking trails in Israel and see where mapping is finished, and where work still needs to be done. I’ve found that there is a neat open source project - “OSM Tracking Manager” - on Github.
The project was originally designed and built for the Humanitarian OSM Team collaborative mapping, but there is a tracking server for any kind of OSM related activity (mapping parties, private tasks and so on).

Do you think it is a good idea?
Has anyone had any experience with OSM Tracking or this tracking Manager specifically?
Any other thoughts and suggestions?
