Hi everyone, Just joined, how did I come across this forum, well I was looking for a sat nav for my android phone and always been fascinated by them, Ive I have a tomtom but hate the way they are sticking up the prices for maps etc, Im really excited about reading through all this and maybe when I get to know how putting my own input into helping out.
I love the Navfree it looks so much better than tomtom etc, and Im getting to grip with it now as a back up sat nav until everything is sorted on it, I love the google search but with no door numbers its a pain although as I say great for a back up, I also find in the search I cant find local places in my town although they are there on the map. But its all freeopen source and an amazing exciting thing and will probs make all these other platform companies think twice in the future.
Well done to all that have developed this open source mapping as well as the sat nav softwares, its great that you all put so much effort into it all. LOVIN IT
