Inserting points in paths?

Hi all,

New to OpenStreetMap....

This is the first of several editor questions, and I'll post each individually.

Basic question: Can I insert a new point into a path I'm editing? Primarily I'm looking at doing it in Potlach 2.

In Potlatch 2: Select the way, then hold down "Shift" and click on the way to add a point.

Where is the reference to commands while editing ways? I probably missed it but didn't see them.

You can click on the "Help" button in Potlatch 2 (in the top left corner).
