Gas Stations and Convenience Stores

If I use type 0x2e06 for convenience stores they show up among the gas stations on the GPS. Does anyone know of a type that is only categorized as convenience store?

Re: Gas Stations and Convenience Stores

Sorry, there isn't. For details of more Garmin weirdness see here: http://www.gwprojects.org/forum/viewtop … 674#p26674

If you use this POI code then it will show up in the GPSr in searches for fuel!

It would be nice to know how Garmin intended it to work. BaseCamp can make a difference between the convenience stores and gas stations on Garmin's maps so it should be possible.

Re: Gas Stations and Convenience Stores

Garmin won't tell us, of course, but since it shows up in searches for both gas and shopping I think this type should only be applied to gas stations with an attached shop. Don't use this for convenience stores without fuel pumps.
