OSM in arabic

Hi,

I am making maps and the street names are in Arabic, but JOSM changes my Arabic letters to ?????? and the applet changes the Arabic letters to something like: Ç@$%&$*^.

Is OSM supporting Unicode -Arabic letters- ? any fix?
