Private OSM-Server

hi there,

i am a developer and have connect openstreetmap with our crm-system. When you click on a customer you get all other in custer nearby. To save the ressources of the openstreetmap-server i would like to setup a private server.

Is there any tutorial to setup a private osm-server

Assuming you mean a tile server, there is a good tutorial here for setting on up: http://weait.com/content/build-your-own-openstreetmap-server
Specifically for Ubuntu 10.04, but other distributions should be kind of similar.
