Export SVG from Maperative to Illustrator

Hi!

I’m trying to export a map from Maperative in SVG. But when I open the file in illustrator the map is pixelated (instead of vector) and the map features are not separated into layers. Any suggestions?

Either ask at the Maperitive mailnglist https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/maperitive

and include some examples please!!
