A question...

Hi  well, this morning I discovered a page in OpenStreetMap with Wikipedia where you could post geolocated images from Wikipedia into OSM (or something like that) so you could fill the map with photos (I think 1 photo was 1KM)… later I lost that page and now I can’t find it!! :c Can anyone tell me the link? :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks!

Anyone? u_u

Maybe you are looking for http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Mapillary?
Connection with osm is describes also here. https://www.mapillary.com/osm.html

Or maybe you want to add images from wikimedia? See http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:wikimedia_commons.

Yees! it was very similar to that, but it was in OpenStreetMap map and it showed every geolocated photo on wikipedia… :stuck_out_tongue:

was it perhaps http://www.geopedia.de/ ?

No, it was just like that, but with OpenStreetMap design and with all geolocated images on Wikipedia, and there was something like “1 image = 2km or 1km” and you could click on these images and see them in Wikipemia Commons u_u

It was like this: https://www.openstreetmap.org/?mlat=45.098&mlon=7.34267&zoom=15#map=17/45.09907/7.34294 but showing every geolocated image on Wikipedia
