map a tracklist to Streets&distances, e.g. directions

Hi there,

how to find the links&nodes from way points, so can get something like a directions descriptions?

I’m looking for something like this:
[pos_1, pos_2, … pos_n] ==(maxig box)==> "follow route A direction so-and-so, after 15 miles turn left into street B. After 5.5 miles turn right into C. etc. "

the positions a likely uneven distributed, and they do not match the nodes from osm.

Any Ideas? Thank You!
