Should the JOSM plugin turnlanes be used?

Since the turn lanes relation is still only a proposal should the turnlanes plugin be used at all? http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Rela … turn_lanes

Don't know, there is also a (approved) relation-free variant I'm using personally.

Thanks but it doesn't look like Key:turn has been implemented in JOSM http://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/keys/turn#josm so I'm going to get validation errors even if I'm using it correctly

I have tested it and at least for me, the turn:lanes=* key does not cause errors or warnings in JOSM's validator.

Anyway, there are many, many keys that JOSM doesn't know - that doesn't mean they may not be used.
