Selecting Relations within a drawn area (JOSM)

When a select an area by dragging a rectangle or using the lasso tool I can see the relations of which the selected objects are part of. In the properties/members window the relations are shown. Unfortunately I can not select( all or a selection of)  the relations. Is there a way to select all the relations of which members are within a selected area? Or alternatively.. is there a way to add the relations (and all of its members) to the selection?

You can search (Ctrl-f) for "parent selected" and tick the radio button 'Add to selection'. If you need to do this often, you can also tick the box: 'Add toolbar button'.
