Just downloaded Greece and searched for Athens. In OSM it has name=Αθήνα, name:en=Athens (and others). When typing Athen it displays “Athens(Αθήνα)”. It seems that all places in in Greece have a name:en. But yes, will be interesting to see, how it deals with name=cyrllic and name:sr-Latn. The maps are usually updated each months so I expect them soon
I found a village in Serbia that was cyrillic before. As the last map was produced, it was tagged
alt_name = Kopaonik, int_name = Kopaonik, name = Копаоник, name:sr = Копаоник, place = village
When searching for Kopaonik it displays Копаоник in the results.
Ја користим osmosis и сам правим мапу јер претрага по називу мора да буде у писму које је у тагу name да би била успешна. Додуше, коришћење ћелаве латинице је дозвољено.
That is one of the reasons why I voted that we set int_name and name:en as we fix name, name:sr and name:sr-Latn.
Mapfactor now supports a lane assistant and signposts when navigating based on data in OSM (turn:lanes[:foward/backward] and destination:lanes[:forward/backward]
