Hi Everyone,

maybe you can help me -
I’m working for the scouts and trying to build a website that will help our guys planning trips for the little kids.

I’m trying to use Zeev and Harel’s wonderful project.

I’m using Wordpress to build up the site and using certain plug-ins. I’m right now trying a specific one which is not working and I can’t understand why.
I’m guessing it’s a simple thing that I just can’t understand\see.

I’m attaching a link to a screenshot of the plug-in and maybe you guys can help me what to write inside in order for it to work (for my website to show the Israel hiking trail map):

I’m not entirely familiar with leaflet wordpress plug-in, and this is a long shot but it looks as if you placed “<” and “>” (triangular brakets) instead of “{” and “}” (curly brakets) in the tiles address.
If changing it does not work I would try and contact leaflet support or wordpress, which ever responds first.

In other words, please try the following as the “Map Tile Url” for Wordpress Leaflet Map Plugin:

http://osm.org.il/IsraelHiking/Tiles/{z}/{x}/{y}.png

Note the use of “{z}” rather than “”

not working…
I’m trying to reach the plug-in support, but if anyone has any idea what I’m doing wrong it will be appreciated.

I tried a different plug-in called MapsMarkerPro - should be the best for openstreetmaps (hoped that would work) and still no success.

anyway, if anyone has any idea, it would be a great help.

I’m trying to get help from the plug-in developers as well.

I don’t know who is the OpenStreetMaps expert here, but I guess he is the one I’m looking for to help me.

Hi Yuval,

Can you get any of the plug-ins to work with any of their default maps?
Once you have a working example, we can help trying to modify it for the Israel Hiking map.

Hi Zeev,

I figured it out with the help of the plug-in support team.

Apparently I wrote everything correctly, but the default location of the plug-in was Vienna, Austria. cause the IsraelHikingMap doesn’t have a tile for there, it gave an error message.

I changed the default location to Jerusalem (just by adding the right coordination) and it worked perfectly!
